How did you get the gig at Fearless Radio?
Well, my band, BLOODSTREAM PARADE was interviewed on FEARLESS RADIO this past spring on another show. Afterwards, I was asked if I would be interested in doing a show. My response was, FUCK YEAH!!!!!
What kind of formal training do you have to be a DJ?
ZERO!!!!! Just a chimp behind the microphone!!!!
How long has your show been on the air?
At the end of December, 6 months.
What would you say has been the most challenging aspect of doing your show on a day to day basis?
Getting the word out to every unsigned band that needs to be heard, and every metalhead that needs hear them. That's been the most challenging. Other than that, it's been a snap.
What would you say is the overall goal of your show?
To help out these bands. Get them heard!!!!! Being a musician myself, I know what all these brothers and sisters have to go through to get themselves out there. The goal is always to spread the word of METAL!!!!
Where do you see your show by this time next year?
I have no idea. I'm justing letting fate run this thing. With no experience, no training, I could be out of it tomorrow and not one readio station in the world would hire me.
What major changes would you like to see?
I admit it!!! I want THE WOLF'S DEN to be the #1show on the network, as well as, the internet. But the time slot allotted to me sometimes hurts. My show caters to bands here and overseas. But time zones as fucked as they are, make it very challenging for most people to tune in. Either it's too late in the night for some here in the states, or too early in the morning overseas. I hope to either get in on the afternoon or overnight slot.
What so far has been the most rewarding experience of doing your show?
Well, there's so many to count. One is playing these awesome bands.
Two, is meeting people online and making lot's of friends. And I guess the third is zapping Shelley on an almost weekly basis. Haha
Who is the one artist that you would absolutely act like a screaming 12 year old school girl if you could get them on the show? (And I don't mean that you would literally act like a jackass on the air, but on the inside you would be totally freaking out)
Once again, too many to pen down. I just did an interview with Joey Belladonna of ANTHRAX, and I thought I was going to shit myself. But the one person, or band, Hmmmmm. DANZIG. That's if I had to choose one.
What has been the most memorable experience in your time at Fearless Radio?
Fearless Radio giving me the chance to pay tribute to DIMEBAG DARRELL. It seemed like everything worked out, the feelings were heard, and many of our brothers and sisters of metal, tuned in. Thanks to you all.
Who is your dream co host?
Kevin Matthews.
What artists are you a big fan of?
OZZY, BLACK SABBATH, PANTERA, SLAYER, OVERKILL, ST. MADNESS, LIQUID VIOLENCE, DANZIG, IRON MAIDEN, CELTIC FROST, KREATOR, ANTHRAX, MOTLEY
CRUE, PINK FLOYD, THE DOORS, THE BEATLES, JOHNNY CASH,..... Oh hell, just go to www.myspace.com/wolfman666 and see who I'm about.
What would you like to say to your fans?
BLOODSTREAM PARADE and THE WOLF'S DEN. Let get into your soul and do it up!!!!!
Anything else you think current and potential listeners should know about you or your show?
To me, all that matters is entertaining you. Metal is my love, and I get to play some pretty killer bands on our show. But without you, there is no show. Without you, no bands will get new followers. So, tune in and help spread the word about THE WOLF'S DEN!!!
If a tree fell down on you in the middle of the forest and no one was around to see it, is it still funny?!
It all depends what animal it squishs.
Are you feeling coyish?!
Well, tell me what it is and I'll scratch my butt and punch Shelley
What do birds say?
I taste like chicken!!!
Why do you smell bad??
Crotch rot!!!!!
Would you eat a rubber chicken?
Much rather eat rubber pussy.
How much money would someone have to pay you for you to wear a dress?
Millions.
